A luxurious lodge on Auckland’s Waiheke Island – the jewel in Auckland’s stunning Hauraki Gulf. Just a 35-minute ferry ride or 5 minute helicopter flight from downtown Auckland, Waiheke is a favourite destination for lovers of luxury travel.
Delamore Lodge is built cliffside with commanding views overlooking Owhanake Bay, superior facilities, first-class service and delicious dining. Inspired by the Mediterranean with a unique New Zealand flavour, this elegant and exclusive luxury lodge is designed in the shape of a traditional Maori fish hook (Matau) and is literally moulded into the hillside.
With breathtaking sea and island views of Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf and rooms filled with international and indigenous New Zealand craft and artworks, there’s an outlook and a space to please everyone.

Our two bedroom apartment ‘Whareto’ (Apartment) is in the main Lodge building and our secluded standalone two bedroom Owner’s Villa ‘Ataahua’ (Beautiful) sits within our grounds offering privacy and seclusion.
Rates include breakfast, complimentary transfers from the ferry terminal, pre-dinner drink & canapes, complimentary mini-bar and pantry items, and full use of the Lodge facilities.
Luxury Suites
Luxury Suites ‘Awatea’ (Dawn), ‘Motu’ (Island), ‘Mahana’ (Warmth), ‘Moana’ (Ocean) all face the sun and are designed to maximise the magical views of the Hauraki Gulf.
Rates include breakfast, complimentary transfers from the ferry terminal, pre-dinner drink & canapes, complimentary mini-bar and full use of the Lodge facilities.

Our four guest suites and two-bedroom apartments are cocoons of luxurious simplicity. Each room provides an intimate courtyard where you can relax in uninterrupted privacy. Or soak in your bathtub and take in the breathtaking views.
The courtyard cascades down to the striking, Italian-style fireplace and outdoor dining area which leads to the famed infinity swimming pool.
The Lodge offers a dedicated event and meeting pavilion ‘Wharenui’ (a Maori term for an important meeting-house), spacious guest lounge, central courtyard with a sweeping stairway linking to the tropical rock pool and waterfall and day spa facilities including the deep jacuzzi and sauna.
