Delamore Lodge is the perfect location to celebrate one of the most important days of your life. Gather your family and friends for a day of romance, fun and laughter set against a backdrop of beautiful architecture and spectacular views. The premium facilities and experienced and attentive staff at Delamore Lodge will ensure you leave with magical memories you will cherish forever.
Delamore is ideally suited for daytime weddings, so that you can take advantage of the stunning views and then later, the most glorious sunsets.
Everyone at Delamore Lodge including the owner Roselyn Barnett Storey have extensive experience in wedding planning so you can relax and enjoy your extraordinary celebrations, knowing everything will run smoothly. We can also recommend, arrange and liaise with highly trusted and professional suppliers including a celebrant, transport providers, live music, florists, photographers, cake-makers and other local accommodation providers.
Groups of over 30 will enjoy exclusive use of the entire lodge and grounds for the night before and the night of your wedding.
For groups of 29 people or less, full exclusive booking of the lodge is not required.
Delamore Lodge has four luxury suites and a luxury two-bedroom apartment. If your wedding group books all of the suites for one, the bride and groom will enjoy a complimentary third night’s accommodation, including a gourmet breakfast, lunch, pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
A wedding at Delamore Lodge – what to expect
The day before your wedding
You and your wedding party can check in from 3pm the day before the wedding.
A wedding practice, which takes place at 4pm, this will help you familiarise yourself with the order of events, calmimg any nerves and covering off any questions you may have.
You may wish to enjoy a massage to help relax you before the wedding.
At 6.30pm, all in-house guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés. You are welcome to invite outside guests (please ask about additional charges)
Your big day!
Enjoy a gourmet breakfast before your wedding preparations (hair and makeup) begin. Your photographer can be there to capture these unique moments.
Lunch can be arranged for any guests who stayed overnight before the wedding.
Lunch can be delivered to the bridal party in their suite while in preparation mode.
Guests arrive half an hour before the ceremony and are served bubbles and cold canapés.
The ceremony then takes place at the location of your choice.
While you having your photos taken after the ceremony (usually for up to 90mins) your guests can some mix and mingling time catching up with friends and family. Hot and cold canapés with beverages will be served as they soak up the ambience of Delamore Lodge and take in the stunning views.
A late lunch/dinner is served over the course of approximately 2.5- 3 hours, with speeches after the main meal prior to the desserts when everyone has settled and relaxed (Please see our sample menu options below)
As your wedding starts during the day to take in the stunning views, weddings at Delamore Lodge concludes no later than 10.30pm to coincide with the 11pm ferry. However, we can also arrange an after-party at a local wine bar for those who want to continue their celebrations into the night.
The day after
Enjoy a leisurely gourmet breakfast as a group or served to you in your individual suites before checking out at 11.30am.
But if you find it hard to leave – don’t! After the wedding, we invite you to stay on for a private, romantic honeymoon.
