The first step you need to take before you begin to plan your special day is to make sure Delamore Lodge is going to be the wedding venue of your dreams - for bridal parties from New Zealand, and for those planning to travel from overseas.
We know what works beautifully in our special location - for instance, that Delamore suits weddings of up to 90 guests and that it is absolutely perfect for daytime weddings that end sometime between just after sunset and 9pm so that you and your guests can enjoy the breathtaking views of Auckland's stunning Hauraki Gulf in daylight and early evening.
If an after-wedding party is included in your plans, one of Waiheke's lively bars is a great option so you can continue your celebrations into the early hours. We can arrange transport to the bar for you and your guests.

a grand celebration: exclusively yours
This is truly a grand celebration and is designed for weddings with more than 30 guests. You will require exclusive use of our lodge for two days - and two nights - to give you the space and privacy to ensure your day will be perfect.
The lodge will be yours, and your booking will include accommodation for up to eight people in four luxurious suites, each with a super king bed, private courtyard and magnificent panoramic views.
And, we include a complimentary third night free in one suite for the bride and groom with this complete wedding package.
Celebrations will begin the day before when the bride and her special guests arrive.

small is beautiful
With an international reputation for beauty and quality, Delamore is popular for overseas visitors wanting a small and intimate wedding. Many travel here on their own or bring a small number of family and friends to share their day. We organise weddings from all cultures and have experience of ceremonies from all over the world - we have even organised elopements!
Small weddings are also popular with people living in New Zealand who want a very personal ceremony in an exclusive and elegant environment.
With guest numbers below approximately 30, we can offer you the flexibility for the full wedding experience you want. Your booking will include one luxury suite to give the bride the comfort of space and privacy to prepare for her grand entrance.
Unless your booking for a small wedding includes all four of our suites, we cannot provide exclusive use of the lodge, but we will ensure your celebrations, including your ceremony and wedding feast, are not disturbed by other Delamore guests.
the extravaganza
So you want it all - the daytime beauty of Delamore and all the fun of a late-night party. The Extravaganza may well be for you!
If you would like a wedding ceremony during the day and a reception dinner and party that goes late into the night, Delamore and one of the local vineyards will partner to give you your dream wedding.
Your daytime ceremony and overnight accommodation, that is part of this option and comprises four beautiful suites for up to eight people for two nights, will be at Delamore Lodge where you and your guests can marvel at the glorious views while sipping champagne and enjoying delicious canapés. Your dinner and late-night party will be at one of Waiheke Island's stunning vineyards where you and your guests can relax and enjoy a sumptuous feast and party the night away.
We can arrange the booking at the vineyard of your choice and will transport you and your guests to the vineyard after your ceremony and drinks at Delamore.
