the day before
Celebrations begin the day before when the bride and her special guests arrive for a day of relaxation and luxury, enjoying beauty treatments and massage in our purpose-built therapy rooms and visiting our Jacuzzi and sauna.
For the men, we have access to a full range of activities such as golf and archery to keep them entertained before the big day. We can also arrange alternative accommodation for the groom and his party for the day before the wedding - or they can join the bride and her party at Delamore: it's a personal choice.
At some point during the day we will get everyone together for a rehearsal with the celebrant who will conduct your ceremony. This will help you feel comfortable and confident on the day, and help alleviate those wedding day nerves!
The 'day-before' often draws to a close with pre-dinner drinks and canapés served at Delamore before your party is transported to a Waiheke vineyard or restaurant for dinner. Or you can enjoy a quiet and intimate evening in the beauty of Delamore before your big day.
the big day
At last, after months of dreaming and planning, you will wake in your luxury suite to stunning views across the Hauraki Gulf - a magical start to an exquisite day ahead.
Gourmet breakfast will be served to you and your in-house guests and, in the comfort of your own suite, you can begin your important preparations for that precious moment when you appear before your waiting groom, family and friends.
Meanwhile your guests will be arriving - and we guarantee they will be stunned at your choice of location. While you complete your beauty preparations, they will be sipping champagne and served delicious canapés, taking in the spectacular views and enjoying every moment of Delamore's special ambiance. If you wish, background music of your choice can be piped through Delamore's sound system - or you may prefer live music.
By now you will be ready for your grand entrance - and you will have already chosen your favourite location from the many beautiful settings within our unique and special venue, and decided on your music.
Surrounded by the special people in your life, your wedding day celebrations will begin, and you can be sure of attention to every detail to ensure the wedding day of your dreams.
